The Dental Assisting Program at MTI supplies entry-level theory and hands-on training in basic and regular clinical and office jobs. Oral assistant obligations range from helping with oral treatments, to communicating after-care instructions to clients following oral procedures, to prepping the instruments and equipment for the next client. MTI’s oral assisting training includes: Orientation and Introduction to Infection Control, Corrective Dentistry & Dental Charting, Prosthodontics & Dental Office Lab, Dental Radiology & Workplace Administration, Dental Specialties & Preventative Dentistry and Work Preparation & Evaluation and Externship.
