What's the most bothersome/annoying thing that dental ...

Walk out on the dentist during the procedure. Example: uncooperative 8 year old kid with an infected upper primary molar that had been causing him pain. Dad understands why extraction needed and wants tooth out. Of course kids objects, he was scared and crying. CDA tells me it is unethical to try to extract the tooth when the kid is upset and doesn’t want to. Walks out on me. Best thing ever. Dad was my assistant and tooth came out real fast and easy, no problem, cause of infection resolved. Kid stopped crying as soon as tooth out. This assistant was a recent graduate.
