The Dental Assisting program prepares trainees to help physician with oral evaluations, sanitize and prepare instruments, polish teeth, take and establish X-rays, and take impressions of teeth.
Apart from the curriculum, students are trained for the job-seeking procedure through mock interviews, resume constructing workshops and hands-on medical experience. Throughout the program, lodgings and adjustments are offered to high school trainees based upon the IEP/504.
After conclusion of the two-year program, effective prospects will be prepared to look for several accreditations like the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Radiation Health and Safety Certification. Through this oral assistant program and accreditation, trainees participate in the health services field.
