The Dentist is a 1932 American pre-Code funny brief starring W. C. Fields. The movie is among 4 shorts Fields made with the “king of funny,” Mack Sennett, at Paramount. Sennett was near the end of his profession, he discovered excellent usage of the brand-new medium of talking images for funny, as the movie shows. It was directed by Leslie Pearce from a script by Fields himself.
